Stray Dog - For Trade and Media
In his early years of winemaking in Paso Robles, Mark Gendron had a large playful dog wander into the winery barn. Dogs are a frequent sight at wineries, all sizes and breeds. He was excited to find friends. Running and jumping around, he 'accidently' leapt into a vat of zinfandel. Shocked and scared, he scrambled out and ran away. He gave everyone quite a laugh and they never saw the 'Stray Dog' again.
Mark's experience in the wine industry began in 1990 when he purchased a benchmark vineyard on the Westside of Paso Robles and started a small family winery that grew to 30,000 cases. His knowledge of the Paso Robles, Central Coast, Lodi and Sierra Foothills appellations along with the great relationships he has developed over the years has allowed him to purchase the best quality wines and grapes these regions have to offer.
